A quick note

Smokers are people too. It is unconstitutional to not allow smoking on the premises of your fake company.

That is all.

We now return to your regularly scheduled feminist caterwauling

It's been some time. I'm sorry.

Tonight, whilst in an argument with one of my good friends about women in Hollywood and how no one is talented etc. (the argument is not the important part here) his neighbor, who I am casually acquainted to, came outside to smoke a cigarette with us. Now, I like this Dude, given the few conversations I've had with him, but I found out tonight that he is a mansplainer. We got on the topic of my recent work on a 16mm film as a production designer and how I at first doubted myself because I am not that creative (I feel), I was untried, and this wasn't even the job I applied for. The Mansplainer proceeded to tell me that the reason that women are discriminated against in Hollywood is because we doubt ourselves.

Really?! Oh, thank you, Mansplainer for telling me this. We've discovered the secret. You're saying that if only we womenfolk wouldn't doubt ourselves, we'd be more respected, paid the same amount as men, and be more of a pleasure to be around. Why, it makes so much sense. Except in the sense that when a woman is confident in herself, men assume that she is a bitch. Whereas a confident male is run of the mill.

I guess you can't convince everyone.
